سلام لكم في هذا اليوم
So, I know I'm like basically serial-posting. You don't mind, right? This is important.

Okay, maybe not.

I now have braces.

And they hurt like craziness.

And they're annoying.

And I don't know how I'm going to survive the next couple years.

Because this stinks.

Anyway. Just thought you might like to know.

I get my braces in May. Uggg.

We are in the same boat, sister.

Thanks so much for encouraging and making me excited to get mine! (sense the sarcasm *grins*)

In reply, yeah, I guess so. At least we can be miserable together. Joy.

Doesn't Mirriam wear braces too?

Anyway, Kyla, I want to see a pictures of your new and fancy mouth. XD If you send me one of you, I'll send you one of me when mine are in. *grimace*

So sorry! I had mine for a year when I was 9-10. I had normal braces on my front teeth(I didn't have all my adult teeth yet), top and bottom jaw expander, and something that pulled my front two teeth together. Fun stuff. My advice: Avoid getting smashed in the mouth with heavy doors and large balls, rely on Tylenol when needed, applesauce is your best friend, and remember that one day your mouth will stop hurting. =P hehe! It's not really as bad as all that. After a while you'll get used to the braces and they will stop hurting. =)

@Cass- will try to do. LOL

@Emily- thanks. Applesauce actually sounds really good right now...I'm starving...

Of course, to top it all off, the dentist put these little bite stop things in my mouth. So I was making dinner, and I dropped something, and as I did, I gritted my teeth really hard. And now, if I just touch my teeth together over the one bite stop, it sends this shooting pain through my mouth.

Trust me to break my brace appliances on the first day I have them. v.v
